POST 1 (Week 3) >> A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

Hi friends!

In this ocassion, I want to talk about a journey I would like to make in the future. The destination is Cuba!

I want to travel to Cuba with my friends from university. I'm interested in Cuba because there occurred the Cuban Revolution. I want to meet  the place where fought Fidel Castro and Ernesto Guevara. 

Besides, it's a Caribbean country of Latin America: the architecture and his the landscape are beautiful… it's really splendid!

Besides, the Cuban people are very friendly, they are always happy. Their culture is great because it is a mix of African, Spanish and Latin tradition. This occurs in different parts of Latin-America but in Cuba is impressive.

During the trip I want to know cities of Cuba: like La Habana. I want to meet buildings, streets with cobbles, and Caribbean culture.

I also want to meet plantations, because I think  this is very typical to Cuba. And finally, I would like to meet beaches of Cuba because see and landscape are idyllic. We want to make this trip after our graduation.

Also, is the best country in the humanity history! Cuba is awesome, I love you Cuba, I love to Revolution <3

Post N°3 The best Holidays/Concert ever

Well.. I love this topic, because it remembers me about my holidays.

The last summer, my girlfriend and me went to the “Rio Clarillo”. It is a national reserve of the Región Metropolitana of Chile, and it is located 45 km from Santiago.

We woke up at 9 am and prepared all from ours outing: sandwich, drink, swimsuit, etc. Later, we went to Puente Alto and there we took a bus... a fast bus: we almost died!!
When we arrived to nacional reserve, we waited a car and two men took to us to the river.

There, we had in the lunch time we ate sandwich, slept, and swam in the river. This place is beautiful: the mountain, the river, trees… it was great! We stayed all day at Río Clarillo and returned at 6 pm.

A perfect day!!!

POST 6 My experience in the field

Hello everyone!

This time I will talk about my experience in the field of discipline which I hope it will be part:psychology.

Well, first of all, it is important to note that psychology has a long and fun course where you can practice. it is important to note that psychology has a long and fun course where you can practice. It's the (also known as) clinical psychology,legal psychology, the psychology of work and organizations, experimental psychology, etc. Given this, no one can say that psychology is neutral, much less even before its theoretical variants, making it quite complex and very broad and diverse.

Second, the difficulties I have on this area include how difficult it is to coverall areas of psychology to a single empirical level. Whether for research or professional practice. Furthermore, within the constraints that exist in the workplace, it can be said that psychology is pretty devalued and everyone thinks they know it, which causes a great nonchalance and bias towards a complex and many-faceted discipline for understanding behavior and mental processes.

Finally, I do not like much that psychology is so elitist, I believe that knowledge of this profession should socialize more in order to achieve progress in this branch of science. On the other hand, I love that in this field can understand the person as a whole, considering many factors in order to understand their behavior.

POST 7 HOW GREEN ARE YOU?

Hi everyone! I will talk about life ecological.

Recycling has been common practice for most of human history, with recorded advocates as far back as Platón in 400 BC (Reciclemos, 2012). I think that the people learn about environmentally friendly practices in different places in your life. For example in the schools, with different friends, and of course, the education delivering them to family.

     About me, I practice a lesser measure recycling in my habits. I from commune Cerrillos, and that place haven’t location to recycle. However, I trying different ways for done. For example, I use to bike the weekends, I prefer shop ecologic products when i buy.

      

      I use the bicycle for job the Sundays, and participate in the “CicloRecreoVía” of Ñuñoa. Also I not use car never in my life…because I haven’t jaja. I don’t know many organizations about recycling, but I have a girlfriend teaching me about on the subject, and explicate me to important of recycling

 I like in the future a life more ecologic and more cleaning, where I know I fulfill a fundamental role for the save to planet.

Post 10: English Language Challenges

Hi friends!

                My experience learning English at the university had highs and lows. The first times I came to classes costed me too much to understand what the teacher was talking about, since a long time that I had an English class (about 5 years ago), also the quality of my classes were rather poor, where at High School we still learning the verb "to be".

                But over time, I got involved in this area, where one at a time I was learning more about grammar, listening english dialogues, writing in this language, and obviously speaking... Just a little bit, but at least my learnings in english have been significant. On the other hand, I believe that the wording in blogs allows to learn you in a peaceful and relaxed way, entertaining you and thinking in various topics from week to week, to then confirming them here, in this space.

Clearly, I need to improve my English and above all improve my vocabulary, lexicon, and develop my listening skill in this language in order to be a comprehensive human being, and of course to apply to a scholarship overseas in the future.

Well, I think a lot to keep learning, and not only in English , so much joy I take these challenges to continue to grow as a person and as a professional future of the social sciences .

I am extremely greatful to my teachers who taught me a lot of things in this branch, but over all, they help me to improve and realize the importance of English, to communicate and learn about other cultures.

Post 9 2014: Good and Bad Points (so far..)

Hello friends! as the year ends and it is time to take stock, this time they comment a brief analysis of what happened this year.

            Starting for the negatives things, I think within the points that fit in this space, fortunately few, among which is the having to give up the political group to which I belonged for more than four years, also found the economic crisis passed by my house, where my mother lost her job and had to cut some expenses, but, what the hell! Finally ended and these hardships.

About the good things, I think that is enough, but I would stress that kept me relatively well during the year regarding academic, Jacinta still love, keep a wide range of good friendships, Chile went from round in the World Cup, and of course, my family is full of vitality and healthy.  

That kind of thing makes me feel great and optimistic for what's coming in the other year, which I expect to pay even better in college and better improve my social relations, where I intend to belong to any political group that aspires to revolutionary changes society. Also, I pretend better like human and like psychologist.

Well, I would like to learn more about politic, some musical instrument, football analysis, psychology and of course, learn more about the love.

Finally, I can to say it this year very difficult and educational for my life, which I consider absoluty helpful and important for my rest of my life.

My favorite sport and music (:

Hi everyone friends!

On this ocassion I will talk about my favorite music and my favorite sport. Well, in first time I would say my favorite music is the Rock! for many reasons. I guess  enjoy principally  the syncrony of his instruments, like the drums, bass and guitar.Also, the lyrics of his songs are beautiful, because the content is very funny and sometimes has romantic songs.

My history about of the Rock music is long, for example, I remember when I was in high school…I liked so much a girl that never she loved me and me, I simply consoled with listen Rock music. Anyhow, in this moment  I'm very happy with my girlfriend, where both listen rock music.

I like the strategy and tactics that is put into every game, of course I like it too, the passion, enthusiasm and camaraderie that is played every sport commitment . I consider myself a big fan of two teams, Colo- Colo of Chile and Arsenal of England. I follow Colo-Colo since I can remember , and I still Arsenal since 2008 about. I like those teams because both represent a style of play and football historical tradition that identifies me as a person much .
I can finally say I'm a fan of both, and whenever I have time, I enjoy thoroughly, either with friends or alone in my room enjoying a very good beer. Cheers (: 

My Future Job

Well, about what kind of job I would like to have, I think the best job for me, is work in my high school (Darío E. Salas) like educational psychologist. I guess I could contribute in many topics, for example with vocational orientation. Of course I would like job in many more aspects in my dear high school, but when I think in the future, first I imagine is like educational psychologist and contribution in need different, specially in vocational orientation.

Really, I don’t know if I prefer in outdoors or indoors, but I pretend job with a team of psychologist!

I would like travel and know many countries and different cities, like to London (specially for see to Arsenal <3), La Habana, Madrid and Berlín. But not for employment purposes, as for now I prefer job in an office for have more experience. This is many funny! Or no?.

               About to major, I take…well, for now I feel and think what study social-educational psychology is awesome! Because it have many contents for learn and  grow like human.

               I must confess what the sport psychology for me is very exciting, but for now, there is not enough interest in my workplace.

               Well, I hope to achieve all mencioned and be happy ever.

My experience about the cultural shock.

The Cultural shock in psychology is very difficult to understand, as is driven for different currents and authors  from this science. However, I take the currents of the social psychology, which is united directly from Anthropology. The cultural shock is understood like a conflict set of de different beliefs enter one culture with other.

This definition is very basic, as the psychology hasn’t of the one definition about this topic.

About me experienced a cultural shock, I would write when started to studied in the university…¡yes, in my own university! There, many partners of the generation did from different high sectors, for example Lo Barnechea, Las Condes, in others. That I caused a lot of feelings, like missed of identity, customs and a little nostalgic to my high school, as that, I did really happy.

I remember when the first class in the Universidad de Chile, chairs totally full, a big board and my teacher sit on the table and speaking about of the introduction of psychology. In this moment, I feel a little happy and curiously, but also I feel a lot of the sorrows and melancholy because I stayed with people different to me. For example, they speaks English and different language since many before, they have a clothes very expensive and many cash, instead I, I don’t has the money even expensive clothes. That caused discomfort on me.

For lucky, had passed four years and I don’t feel discomfort, and now I love to guys and partners from my university.

My career, my choose.

¿Why did you choose to study psychology?

I chose to study psychology because it has different topics to learn, among them is the social psychology, psychoanalysis, neuroscience area, experimental  psychology, inter alia. Also, in my opinion psychology in the present helps many people in my country, and of course, around the world. I chose this career because it studies humans and animals behaviours and mentals processes and this is very beatiful for me.

                                                         ¿What did I know about this career that I attracted me?

   Before entered the university I knew very little about psychology. I only knew was very massive and popular career. That it also to helps many people with different mental problems. At that time, i thought  the psychology was very simple, and just focused on the single topic, like the psychoanalysis. However, over time i learned that psychology is very broad and comprehensive, which makes me very happy.

     I chose Universidad de Chile because is the most prestigous in the capital and the country. It has different interesting things, althought today it seems, is becoming elitist and unfair to many people.

Well… I guess like to much this career and the university life, because i'm still here for many times jaja.

 The perfect song

Hi friends

          Im going to talk about “My perfect song”, which is called Just Like Heaven of the british band The Cure.

           Well, I choose this song because instrumentally, I think is complete…the keyboard, the bass, guitars, battery and voice of Robert Smith generate a harmonious and power melody, makes put my body vibrate, in addition, each sound of instruments can identify.

            Also, the lyrics of the song is beautiful, because the content is a deep and romantic love to a person, who can’t know if the protagonist is in love her. Robert Smith, said this song was to his written for future wife.

           My history about this song is not easy of understand, as always I think in my perfect love and inspired me in that idealization with mentioned melody, therefore frequently I have a history of love accompanied by the letter.

           For example, I remember when I was in high school…I liked so much a girl that never she loved me and me, i simply consoled with listen this song.

            Anyhow, in the present I very happy with my girlfriend, where she in this moment is a “the one” for think in she when listen it song.

              My favorite part of “just like heaven” is:

"March for Water"

         In April, thousands of people attended the "March for Water", the called was close to 7,000 attendees.

          The main reason for this march was marked by the end of the privatization of this indispensable element in the society , where more than 70 social organizations were present , claiming that only the powerful businessmen have benefits from the exploitation and use of water , and lucrative business which has cradle since 1981 , during the military dictatorship in hands of Augusto Pinochet. Apart of this, the measure generates a extensive damage to the environment and the Chilean society.

          In my opinion, this struggle is legitimate and necessary for building a "Popular Movement" that promotes the interests and needs of The People, directly opposite where the dominant class whose interests lie in the accumulation of wealth , and finally be brought to the head of State , since they are the ones responsible for the growth and welfare of society in general.

The best book you have ever read

                  The Little Prince

Hi friends!!

 On this occasion i will talk about a wonderful book called “The little Prince” by Antoine de Saint Exupery. I love so much this book because reflects a deep ocean of feelings, like love, melancholy, homesickness, sadness, inter alia.

This book, tells about a boy from other world and accidentally lands in Earth planet, and begins a conversations with different characters, where with each having conversation about the life…touching between the philosophical and the cute life has.

The Little Prince it meant a lot to my life, because when was adolescent, through the book I began to learn about life and how complex, in fact every time I read it, I find myself a beautiful and different meaning.

For all that, I believe that The Little Prince is the best book eeeeever of life!

A picture to remember

Hi friends, on this occasion I will talk about a picture to remember.

            This picture is recently; since it was last Sunday, when my favorite team called “Colo Colo” was champion of “Torneo de Clausura 2014” of Chile and obtained the tittle number thirty.

            This photo was taken in the Monumental Stadium, just when they were giving the Olympic around, and with my friends decided take this photography. Appear in this photo my friends: Nico Duarte and Memo Chávez. Who taken its picture was Tania, girlfriend of my friend Memo Chávez.

            For me, this moment was really awesome! Since children I feel love for Colo Colo and see win the title, filled me with happiness.

“Los Caños Humanos”

Los Caños Humanos is a band of the commune of Pudahuel and are from 2009 composed. This band is composed for 4 members, whose names is Rodrigo Ramírez (my cousin, voice), Marcelo Lagos (a good friend since the child, guitar), Guillermo Chávez (a good friend since the child too, base) and Edgardo (I don’t know who is it, drums).

What I like of this band is yours rock’s sound and energy they put when playing some a pub.

The bad this it group, is your discipline, as since beings friends and have different occupations, sometimes meet to rehearse.

However, I love its group because are my friends and since to child we share the same like musician.

Since boy, i like this console for your games versatility and your graphics highly developed!

Thanks to her, I can play larges hours during the day, and forget the bad moments, learning more and more things about of life inserted each games! (my favorite game is the PES 2013).Their positive characteristics are the versatility of years to play in this console, also of your quality of entertainment.But, their negative aspect are vicious that could become, losing the valorous time in the life academic and amorous life.

Expectatitions for a new semester.

                                                 

Hello! Had said about my autobiography and my likes, and on this occasion i will talk about my expectations for this new semester.

In this semester, I pretend graduating of psychology in the “Universidad de Chile” with an average good, also hope maintain a good relationship with my girlfriend, or otherwise have a nice emotional balance. Also, i hope have a good job during the weekends.

Respect to my free time in my life, I pretend be more studious and more cheerful all time, enjoy the music and my books about politics, and train for a will be an example for my family and my girlfriend.

My Autobiography.

Hello, my name is Anthony Andrés Gutiérrez Rojas, I have 22 years old. I was born in Santiago of Chile, specifically in the hospital San Juan de Dios, located in the commune of Quinta Normal, and in the actuality from in Cerrillos.

My family consists for four persons. My mother (Valeria), my sister (Allison), my little brother (Martín), and me.

I study psychology in the Universidad de Chile, and actuality am in 4th year. Previously graduated in the high school Darío Enrique Salas, located in the commune of Santiago, and more previously i graduated in the Escuela Básica Estrella de Chile located in Pudahuel.

Troughout my life, I had differents  successes and failures, which has helped me grow. I like listen to the music, watching and playing sports, read differents topic books and participate in the university politic, where currently in the politic group called “Plataforma Colectiva”.

In the future, I like have a family composed for three children, a nice couple, a house and be psychologist, and participate of process revolutionary proletarian character in Chile and Latinoamérica.

I feel grateful of the life, and hope to achieve my dreams and be happier every day, where there is a more egalitarian and just world.
